Film Review:Brokeback Mountain

There is no escaping Ang Lee’s adaptation of E Annie Proulx’s short story of “Brokeback Mountain”. Depending on who and where you are in America, this is either a story of love, longing and the problem with it, or a full-on homophobic nightmare. While unrequited love stories are nothing at all new, when the two lead lovers are two, very butch, very otherwise straight cowboys, you have yourself a cornucopia of openly biased propaganda from all over the world.
