Grind House Fridays is the newest web site dedicated to horror films. Grind House Fridays will produce feature length and short horror films and stream them on our site.

Grind House Fridays was created to offer an outlet for independent filmmakers to get their films seen by the public as well as generate some revenue for your film.

We plan on going live in 2010 and are actively pursuing content for our site.

How can I submit my feature length/short film?

Send an email to submissions@grindhousefridays.com. Please include your contact information and a short synopsis of your film. Also include any pertinent info on festivals entered. If it’s available to view online please send us a link to it. If we like what we see we’ll contact you.

Do I keep the rights to my film?

You will retain all rights associated with your film. We’ve created this site as an outlet for horror filmmakers who may not be able to get their film seen by other people. You’ll also receive 60% of all advertising revenue generated by your film.

I have feature length/short screenplay that I want to submit. How do I do that?

Please do not send unsolicited screenplays. They will not be read. If you would like to submit a screenplay please email a short synopsis and your contact information to submissions@grindhousefridays.com. We will send you a form to fill out and return to us with your screenplay.

Do you buy completed films?

As of right now we are only providing an outlet for filmmakers to generate buzz about their films and for them receive revenue from their projects. This is why we let you retain all rights to your film. We only provide a % of all advertising revenue generated from the site.

Emily (Short Film)

Emily has never gotten over her miscarriage three years ago. She’s been using alcohol and pills to dull the pain of losing her baby. Her husband can’t take it anymore and leaves her. She’s home alone and passes out on the couch. When someone breaks into the house to rob the place, he finds her asleep and rapes her. Emily manages to escape and instead of calling the police she decides to take out all of her anger on the unfortunate guy who broke in.
