By Definition- Compliments of 30 Rock!!!

Our brain boxes are clocking overtime for various reasons. Therefore, we haven’t had much time for wordsmithing. Fortunately, Tina Fey, Tracy Morgan, and those other crazy bastards from ‘30 Rock’ have the freedom to wordsmith full time. Even with our 36 hour a day schedules, we make time to watch what they’ve come up with. So in honor of their genius, and in lieu of our laziness, we are straight up stealing. We give you the meanings of these approved terms by definition. ‘30 Rock’ totally crushes.

Thoughtsicles- n. under developed thoughts and ideas which need more time to thaw so that they may be processed.

Ex. We should take a break. I need some time to clear my thoughtsicles.

Business juice- n. an alcoholic beverage or substance that must be consumed during work hours to make the work anywhere from tolerable to damn near enjoyable.

Ex. Liz storms through the strip club doors while business drunk yelling, “More business juice please!”

Business drunk- n. just like rich drunk.

Hollywood Sock- n. Ankle monitor.

Ex. Tracy could not participate in a drinking match with the teamsters because his Hollywood sock had the ability to detect alcohol.

Ragestroke- verb. An attack of anger, jealousy, or frustration so acute, that it causes personal physical damage such as; nosebleeds, headaches, heart attack or stroke.

E.g. As the new guy belts out a beautiful tune, Jenna the resident singer, made it clear that she was NOT having a ragestroke (despite her nosebleed).

Mind Grapes n. - A metaphorical fruit of the brain from which, when squeezed, secrete an abundance of knowledge. (Submitted to NBC.com by Nathan)

E.g. Tracey often has a lot on his mind grapes.

Brocabulary n. – “Cool” vocabulary used by guys who wear popped collars and frayed-brimmed hats. (Submitted to NBC.com by Doug)

E.g. words- “babe-asaurus”, “dude”,etc.

Freedom Search- verb. Authority mandated frisking, scanning, and profiling under completely unnecessary circumstances.

E.g. Jack’s new position with Homeland Security required that he undergo a “Freedom Search” before entering his new office.

Hill People Milk-n. Whiskey

E.g. Kenneth’s family drink from back home.
