The Miami Gay & Lesbian Film Festival & Edison Farrow present an evening with the iconic, irreverent, and deliciously twisted John Waters.

The man who brought you Hairspray, Pink Flamingos, and made Divine a cult-icon will take to the stage of the Lincoln Theater on South Beach for one-night only, in his first South Florida stage appearance in over a decade!

John Waters’ one-man show is a “vaudeville” act that celebrates the film career and obsessive tastes of the man William Burroughs once called “The Pope of Trash.” Focusing in on Waters’ early negative artistic influences and his fascination with true crime, exploitation films, fashion lunacy, and the extremes of the contemporary art world, this joyously devious monologue elevates all that is trashy in life into a call to arms to “filth followers” everywhere.
